However, it's that part that is also the most challenging and rewarding when you are able to ease down the situation and find solutions to such difficult circumstances. Almost everyday, you would get to deal with patients who are irate and agitated, and you had to find a way on how to address and solve their concerns. For almost four years of working here in this institution, I would have to say that probably the hardest part of the job is not the job itself, but rather the people you get to interact with daily, like the patients. The institution always make it to a point that all its staff abides to the rules and regulations to ensure that the quality of service would be maintained and not be compromised. The management, on the other hand, has always been keen in promoting excellent care and improving the quality of work by its staff through conduction of free seminars such as proper hand hygiene and basic life support programs. Dealing with irate patients as well had also been taught to us, particularly in managing and addressing their concerns. I have learned how to handle different kinds of patients, whether it's pediatric or geriatric ones. ![]() However, in spite of the maximum load of patients I handle every single day, I was trained to deliver quality care to all of my patients. Over hundreds of patients are being catered everyday, so every shift has always been busy. St Luke's Medical Center- Global City is a Joint Commission International accredited hospital which accommodates both local and foreign in and out patients on a daily basis.
